Private Terence Alan Frost (Service No:T9235) initially enlisted in the Militia (Private; Service No:234987) on 13 March 1939 and was attached to 12/50 Infantry Battalion when he transferred to the ACMF on 4 March 1940. Private Frost was attached to 12/50 Infantry Battalion when he was Discharged on 1 March 1942.

Born in 1914 in Ulverstone Tasmania, Bill was the fourth of five children of Norman Lewis Frost (b1881 in Westbury, Tasmania) and Elizabeth Heazlewood (b1882 in Ulverstone, Tasmania). Norman (a Cycle Mechanic) and Elizabeth married in 1907 in Devonport and settled in Ulverstone where they raised their family and Norman was a Cycle Mechanic and Garage Proprietor. Norman had served in the Boer War (Trooper/Private; Service No:161; 2nd Tasmanian Imperil Bushmen) and WWII (Sergeant; Service No:T29646).

Bill worked as a Motor Mechanic in Ulverstone and in 1940 married Sheila May Cobern (b1915 in Ulverstone, Tasmania). Bill and Sheila settled in Ulverstone where they raised their family and Bill was a Motor Mechanic. Sheila died in 1969 and Bill in 1977.
