"CORPORAL A. G. POYSER (wounded) of East Geelong, was 24 when he enlisted. He was born at Ballarat, and was educated at Ashby (now Geelong West) State school. Before enlistment he was employed at Excelsior Woollen Mills, and was a member of the Excelsior Mill Cricket Club."
