Private Oswald Edward Edis, D Company, 3rd Reinforcements, 23rd Battalion, of Kyabram, Vic.

Pte Edis enlisted on 16 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Anchises on 26 August 1915.

After serving for three months in the Gallipoli campaign, Pte Edis was deployed to France, where he was killed in action at Pozieres 4th August in 1916, aged 19 years
