REV. CHARLES TREGEAR.
The death of the Rev. Charles Tregear at the age of 73 years, occurred last week, at the Epworth Hospital. Deceased was a Methodist clergyman with a record of nearly half a century's service. He was closely connected with the Methodist Mission, and is remembered in South Melbourne, where he spent nine years in charge ot the local mission, established by the Methodist Church. Mr.Tregear began his church work as an evangelist, and served throughout the State. He retired from regular service six years ago. Deceased was a brother of the Rev. Geo. Tregear of East Malvern, and leaves behind a son (Lieut. Commander A. C. Tregear) and three daughters.
The remains were laid to rest in the Kew Cemetery.
