Darrell Lorraine BLEECHMORE was born in Cora Lynn, Terowie, South Australia

His parents were James Clarence BLEECHMORE & Sarah Isabel ROEBUCK

He served as a Sergeant in the Senior Cadets before he enlisted in Melbourne on 3rd February, 1915 with the Light Horse & transferred to the 22nd Infantry Battalion & embarked with the 22nd Infantry Battalion, B Company on the HMAT Ulysses on 10th May, 1915

Darrell was Killed in Action at Pozieres in France on 5th August, 1916 - no known grave

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Villers Bretonneux Memorial
