L. H. ABRAHAMS enlisted on 14th February and embarked as Driver in 3rd Divisional Supply Column on 5th June 1916. He returned to Australia on 1st May and was discharged on 14th June 1919.
Mr Louis Henry Abrahams, 49, who died on Friday night on his yacht at Williamstown, following a sudden illness, was a prominent figure in Melbourne's business life, and well-known in yachting and aviation circles.
He was joint managing director of Radio Corporation Pty Ltd, Universal Guarantee Ltd, and Electronic Industries Ltd. He served in the last
war with the 3rd Divisional Supply Column, and was notable in his business life for encouraging aviation.
