Distinguished Conduct Medal
'For conspicuous gallantry from August 6 to September 25, 1915, at Anzac, in charge of the night bomb throwers. He displayed the greatest bravery and skill in the performance of his dangerous duties, and set a fine example of devotion to duty.'
