Died:	Accidently drowned in the very early morning of 14.07.1955 when he slipped into the sewerage dam on the Mayday Hills grounds when walking to work at Mayday Hills Mental Hospital from his Crawford Street home. , Beechworth, Victoria, Australia , 14 July 1955, aged 59 years
Cemetery:	Beechworth Cemetery, Victoria Buried at 3.00 pm on Sunday 17.07.1955 in Church of England - Section E - Plot 322 with his wife. The Beechworth Cemetery Trust was responsible for the 1st A.I.F. Bronze Military Plaque from D.V.A. on his grave.
