He is commemorated as a Corporal on the Lochalsh War Memorial at Balmacara/Reraig Balmacara [Scottish Gaelic: Baile MacRath] is a scattered village on the north shore of Loch Alsh near Kyle of Lochalsh, Ross-shire.

He is one of five Australian Great War casualties so honoured.
