Lance Sergeant Garth Perronet Pritchard (Service No:N467475) enlisted in the ACMF (Part Time Duty) on 27 January 1942 and was attached to 32 Battalion VDC when he was Discharged on 16 October 1944.
Born in 1911 in Rockhampton QLD, Garth was the eldest of two children of Perronet Arthur Pritchard (b1885 in Westbury, Tasmania) and Audrey Lenore Grant (b1885 in Wallaroo, South Australia). Perronet (a Farmer) and Audrey married in Melbourne, Victoria in 1910, and moved to QLD where Perronet was a Farmer at Nambour and a Farm Manager at Clifton on the Darling Downs in QLD. By 1921 Perronet and Audrey were in Tasmania, where Perronet was a Farmer and Station Manager at Bothwell and Wilmot.
Garth was an Electrical Draftsman in Sydney NSW in 1937 when he married Rosalie Kidd (b1911 in Launceston Tasmania) - Rosalie was a Teacher. Garth and Rosalie settled in New Lambton in Newcastle, NSW where Garth was a Draftsman for BHP and an Engineer. Garth died in 1971 and Rosalie in 1994.
