Private Thomas Edward Hart (Service No:N351350) served in the ACMF with 27 Battalion (VDC) on Part Time Duty from 24 April 1942 to 17 September 1945.

Tom was born in Orange, NSW in 1899, eldest of three children of Arthur Hart (b1874 in Bathurst, NSW) and Margaret Kate Rosser (b1865 in Bathurst, NSW). Arthur (a Labourer) and Margaret married in Millthorpe in 1898 and lived in Guyong and McPhail before settling in Peak Hill in 1912. Arthur and Margaret raised their family at Tomingley via Peak Hill, where Arthur was a Labourer.

Tom was a Farmer in Tomingley via Peak Hill, where in 1927 he married Dapne Merle (aka Merle) Matthews (b1908 in Peak Hill, NSW). Tom and Merle settled at Tomingley via Peak Hill, where they raised their family and Tom was a Farmer. Tom died in 1983 and Merle in 1998.
