Return from War

Wilfred was with his unit in Belgium when Armistice was declared, and then travelled to England. On 16 June 1919 he left Liverpool, England on HT "Ormonde", disembarking Adelaide on 29 July, 1919.
Wilfred was on medication for the rest of his life, suffering from bad nerves, and died on 13 May, 1957 of tetanus, which the family were led to believe could have been as a result of his previous was injury. He never talked of his was experiences or attended and remembrance services as far as the family is aware.
