9 February 1916 - Disembarked at Suez
7 August 1916 - Wounded in action - back
22 February 1917 - Wounded in action but remained on duty
27 July 1917 - AWOL - fined 10 days pay

John Willis was born on the 6th of June 1896. John was born in Ridleyton, Adelaide, Australia. John worked as a glass blower before he enlisted on the 30th of August 1915. Before going to the First World War John had no military experience.
John was in Adelaide when he enlisted for the First World War. John boarded the boat HMAT A30 he boarded on the 11th of January 1916. John was involved in two units, the 32nd battalion and the 48th battalion. John died of a sickness while at the war and his date of death was 12th of July 1918. John Willis was a corporal in the first world war.
