Brother of Frank Offler who returned to Australia on 15 January 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide having served with the 50th Battalion

Commenced return to Australia on 27 September 1917 aboard HT Suevic disembarking on 18 October 1917

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 11 April 1918 George married Christina Isabella Buckley in St Pauls Church, Adelaide, SA.
