Biography

John Crozier BEACOM was born in Burrawang, NSW on 14th April, 1882

His parents were Robert BEACOM and Elizabeth ARMSTRONG

He enlisted in Brisbane on 22nd October, 1916 with the Australian Army - he was with the 15th Battalion, 23rd reinforcements - Unit embarked from Sydney on board HMAT Beltana on 25th November, 1916

He was Killed in Action on 13th August 1918 - he is buried in Heath Cemetery, Harbonniers, France (see the AIF link below for further details of his service and his Biography for his Memorials

John was awarded the British War Medal & the Victory Medal
