Add my storyBiography contributed by Faithe Jones
Leigh was married with five children. He had served in the Great War and on his return in August 1919 took up Tomato growing in the Lockleys District. After several years he purchased a property at Waterloo Corner. Small shallow overflowing bores decided the purchase and despite general opinion he put down deep bores with excellent results. Having discovered the wonderful supply of artesian water, was rewarded for the courage of his convictions. In May 1940 he enlisted for service. He has one son Charles in the RAAF and two sons awaiting Air Force call.
