On enlistment stated as a Qualified Baker with Mr AJ Morgan&Co Hartwell. in 1940 with the CMF.
Called up for duty in 1941 and posted to 4th Field Ambulance for full time service as Hospital Cook Grade 3.
Overseas Service: New Guinea 1943-1944 & New Britain 1945.
Awarded 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal & ASM 1939-45.
