Private Raunsley Moss Ingram (Service No:NX58868) enlisted in the AIF on 11 July 1940, and was attached to 2/14 Field Coy Engineers on 3 February 1941 when he embarked with his Unit from Sydney for the Middle East. Sapper Ingram (Driver) undertook convoy work between Port Said and Amerza, embarking on 8 May 1942 for Adelaide on board the George Taylor. Private Ingram served in New Guinea (November/December 1942) - returning to Townsville for treatment for Malaria. Private Ingram was attached to 2/14 Field Coy Engineers at Discharge on 10 March 1945.

Ross was born in Sydney, New South Wales in 1914, tenth of thirteen children of Robert Henry Leslie Ingram (b1878 in Maitland, New South Wales) and Ruby Muriel Phillips (b1882 in Sydney, New South Wales). Robert (a Carter) and Ruby married in 1900 in Sydney, where they settled and raised their family and Robert was a Bread Carter, Baker and Bakery Manager.

Ross worked as a Bread Carter and Baker in Sydney, where in 1937 he married his first wife Myrtle (aka Pamela Dawn) Dorothy Ford (b1916 in Glebe, New South Wales) - Myrtle was a Radio Worker in Sydney. Following his Discharge from the Army, Ross and Myrtle divorced in 1946, and Ross was a Baker in Sydney in 1949 when he remarried to Enid Marion Molesworth (b1926 in Sydney, New South Wales). Ross and Enid lived in Griffith, Gosford and Moree, where they raised their family and Ross was a Master Baker and Owner/Manager of Ingram's Bakery. In the early 1970s Ross and Enid settled in Sydney, where Ross was a Manager. Ross died in 1995 and Enid in 2023.
