Ken was the youngest of three children of Albert Ernest Jude Snr (b1887 in Dunolly, Victoria) and May Grace Dyson (b1893 in Perth, WA). Albert arrived in Kalgoorlei WA with his parents and siblings in the early 1900s, and worked as a Porter at the United Service Hotel in Perth, WA in 1910. He was a Wire Worker in Fremantle WA in 1914 when he married May (aka Grace) and the couple settled in Fremantle where Albert was a Wire Worker/Weaver/Mattress Maker.

In January 1942 Ken was a Textile Printer in Fremantle WA when he enlisted in the ACMF (Gunner; Service No:W2684) and was attached to 10 Garrison Battalion (WA) when he Discharged in July 1942 to enlist in the AIF. Ken served as a Bombardier (Service No:WX25346) with 3 Field Regiment in Borneo (8 April 1945 - 12 December 1945) and was Discharged in March 1946. Brother Bert and brother-in-law Philip Dilley also served in WWII.

Returning to Fremantle, WA Ken worked as a Storeman and in 1949 married Mary Craig (b1924 in Fremantle, WA). The couple settled in Fremantle and Ken worked as a Lumper (Docker). Ken died in 2006 and May in 2020.
