"THE LATE PRIVATE A. RONALD.
Private Andrew Ronald, who was the only son of Mr. A. Ronald, Musselburgh, Scotland, was killed in action on August 23 in France. He enlisted in 1914 and was in the landing at Gallipoli. He was wounded, but returned to the peninsula before the evacuation. Prior to enlisting he had gained his diploma as a wool-classer. He was a member of the Flinders-street Presbyterian Church and will be sorely missed by his many friends." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 14 Oct 1916 (nla.gov.au)
