Thomas's parents were Richard Thomas Graham and Charlotte Alexandria Brown. Thomas was a farm labourer and married Lily Ida May Kunde of Samson Creek on 18 September 1915. The Kunde family was early pioneers of the district. Thomas enlisted on 2 February 1916 at Brisbane. He died of wounds aged 23.
