Reginald Mortimer PLANE was born in Hobart, Tasmania on 6th February, 1918

His parents were Charles Reid PLANE & Sophia SARGEANT

He married Marie Leah Blanche MOYNEHAM in 1919 in Mile End, England

He served during WW1 under the name of Mortimer PLANE with the 2nd Field Company Engineers and during WW2 with the 3rd Garrison Battalion under the name of Reginald Mortimer

Reginald died in Prince Henry Hospital Sth. Melbourne, Victoria on 23rd April, 1945 with a suspected skull fracture after he was hit by a bus in Salmon St, Fishermans Bend  & was cremated at Fawkner Memorial Park
