Residents will be sorry to learn that word has now been received that Private A. E. Perry, who was previously reported as missing, was killed on the 20th September. The sad news was received by his widow in Adelaide. Arthur was a native of the district and was for a time employed by the Urban Section and aafterwards was an Irrigation Trust ganger in the Deakin avenue section. Sympathy is felt for the family, including the several brothers and sister (Mrs. H. Banner) who reside in Mildura.
