Private Ronald Albert Keith Garlick (Service No:V37482) served in the ACMF with 22 Infantry Battalion from 31 May 1941 to 14 August 1941, when he was Discharged as Medically Unfit.
Ron was born at Schnapper Point (Mornington), Victoria in 1909, third of five children of Samuel Garlick (b1877 at Schnapper Point (Mornington) Victoria) and Mary Ann Todd (b1879 at Rocky Lead, Victoria). Samuel (a Groom) and Mary married in 1901 in Mornington, where they settled and raised their family and Samuel worked as a Groom and Labourer.
Ron worked as a General Hand, Gardener and Labourer in Mornington, living with his parents until their deaths (Samuel in 1957 and Mary in 1971). Ron retired to Creswick via Ballarat, where he died in 1986.
