Pte. Alfred Donald McAllister Allard, 10th Battalion Australian Infantry, was killed in action on 18th May 1915. He is buried in Beach Cemetery, Anzac.
Originally from Elsternwick, Victoria, he was the 23 year-old son of William Henry Allard and Florence Benson Allard, of “Mosslyn,” North Road, Brighton, Victoria, Australia.
He had been slightly wounded on 5th May 1915 but was quickly returned to his unit.
