Trooper William Morgan Graham (Service No:V23795) served in the ACMF with 13th Light Horse Regiment 2 Division Cavalry. He was one of four brothers (Charles, Alfred and Herbert) who served in WWII.
Bill was born in Sale, Victoria in 1916, third of seven children of William Frederick Gordon (b1882 in Heyfield, Victoria) and Anne Jane Davis (b1886 in Toombon, Victoria). William (a Farmer at Briagolong via Maffra) and Anne married in Melbourne in 1909 and settled at Briagolong via Maffra, where they raised their family and William was Farmer.
Bill worked as a Labourer in Stratford via Maffra, and in 1940 in Maffra married Hilda (Beau) May Nellthorp-Quibell (b1920 in Bruthen, Victoria). Bill and Beau lived in Stratford, Tinamba and Maffra, where they raised their family and Bill worked as a Labourer, Railway Employee and Farmer. Beau died in 1991 and Bill in 1997.
