Trooper Ralph Leslie Moyle (Service No:V25671) served in the ACMF from 8 July 1940 to 21 August 1942. Initially attached to 26 Machine Gun Regiment, Trooper Moyle transferred to 19 Machine Gun Regiment on 6 November 1940.
Ralph was born in Kenmare, Victoria in 1910, second of five children of Arthur Moyle (b1883 at Long Plains, South Australia) and Florence Amy Hill (b1882 at Mt Rat, South Australia). Arthur (a Labourer) and Florence married in 1908 in Jeparit, Victoria and settled in Kenmare where they raised their family and Arthur was a Labourer and a Farmer.
Ralph worked as a Farmer in Kenmare, Victoria where, in 1935, he married Doris May Dellar (b1912 in Rainbow, Victoria). Ralph and Doris settled in Kenmare where they raised their family and Ralph was a Farmer before retiring to Portland. Ralph died in 1986 and Doris in 2002.
