Full name Edwin Roy Clark BARTLETT

Son of Albert BARTLETT and Harriet nee CLARK

Edwin Roy Bartlett was born on the 7th of February 1891 at Colton South Australia. Before enlisting in the AIF he wokred as a Clerk. His mother Mrs Harriett Bartlettl Edwin's nominated next of kin lived on Grote street in Adelaide. He was 5,10 with blue eyes and light brown hair and was aged 24. He enlisted on the 18th of August 1915, his rank on enlistment was a Private.

He left Adelaide on board HMAT A30 Borda, on the 12th of January 1916 to Egypt.
