Son of Sydney James and Ida Agnes Morgan, Percy Street, Warwick, Queensland

The death occurred in Brisbane on September 2, of Stanger Sydney (Tom) Morgan, after a brief illness. He Was aged 55 years and was the second son of the late Mr and Mrs  Sydney James Morgan. He was a brother of Leah (Mrs Con Lawler) 26 Bell street, Toowoomba, Ida (Mrs T. J, McKone Warwick, Stella, and Madge (Brisbane) Charlie (Townsville)  Bob , (Blackbutt).

The late Mr Morgan was employed by the New Zealand Loan Wool Store for a number of years, where he was held in the highest esteem. He was a veteran of the first AIF and a  nephew of the late Sir Arthur Morgan.

His remains were laid to rest in the Lutwyche War Cemetery on Sept 4. The last post was sounded. The Rev, Father, Costello, of the Holy Spirit Church, New Farm officiated at the grave side. Many wreaths were sent including one from the staff and fellow employees of the New Zealand Loan Wool Stores.
The late Mr. Morgan was a native of Warwick, where his father was Mayor for many years.
