Albert was the sixth of ten children of James Davies (b1860 in York, WA) and Anne Hitchcock (b1876 in Northam, WA). James (a Farmer in York, WA) and Anne married in 1894 in York WA where they raised their family.

Albert was a Farmer on Hillside Farm in 1935 when he married Phyllis Pearl Willey (b1910 in Beverley, WA) in Beverley, WA. Albert enlisted in the ACMF in April 1942 and was a Private (Service No:W73265) attached to 9 Battalion VDC when he was Discharged in March 1944.

Albert and Phyllis remained at Hillside, where ALbert died in 1968. Phyllis died in York WA in 1995.
