He scored the role of De Jolidon in
The merry widow. It played at the stoll
Theatre in London's West end.
In 1954 he sang the lead role in the
Dancing years on ice production at
Wembley arena to an audience of
10 thousand people a night.

In a newspaper article about Colin, appearing In 1954, the reporter mentioned a letter written By Colin while he was in London. In the letter, Colin expressed the desire to be remembered by The St George District Cricket association, and his Friends in the St George District. As Colin had played
Cricket with the Bexley club for many years. ♠
