Harry Stockall was born at Hurlstone Park to Leopold Ignatius Stockall a shearer and carpenter who served in Boer War and Kate nee Richardson.

He married Marjorie Elizabeth Maud Hayes and had four children.

He worked at Sydney GPO and enlisted in the RAAF in 1942 and served in Postal Services in New Guinea for which he was awarded The Pacific Star. He returned to Australia January 1946.

He died at Minto 1958 aged 46 and was buried in St Peters Anglican Churchyard.
