Albert was the fourth of eight children of Arthur Allen Ball (b1871 in Gloucestershire, England) and Ada Daisy Heathcote (b1887 in Coolgardie, WA). Arthur (a Fitter) and Ada married in Kalgoorlie WA in 1904 where they settled and raised their family. Arthur worked as a Fitter and an Electrician.
Albert was a Miner in Kalgoorlie, WA when he enlisted in the ACMF in February 1941 (Private; Service No:W24024) and was attached to 121 Reserves Motor Transport Coy when he was Discharged in December 1941.
Albert settled in Perth WA, where he worked as a Moulder's Assistant and Labourer. Albert died in 1969.
