Son of James Ballantine HOGG and Martha Battersby nee SCHOLES
Husband of Helen Nita HOGG nee MORLEY
William was wounded and lost the sight in his left eye. He returned to Australia 09 March 1917 and was discharged as medically unfit 11 April 1917.
William served for a number of years as Cambooya Shire Councillor and was made a life member of the RSL. He was also a Legatee in Toowoomba for many years.
