Aubrey Augustus DUDDLE was born in Goulburn, NSW in 1896

His parents were Thomas DUDDLE & Elizabeth COLBART who married in Carcoar in 1877

He married Annie Snow Matilda GODFREY in Goldsmith Street Methodist Church in  Goulburn on 18th March,  1922

Two of his brothers also served

1. William Colbart DUDDLE (SN 781) died of wounds in England on 28th December, 1917

2. George Macefield DUDDLE (SN 3384) served during WW1 in the 56th Infantry Battalion and during WW2 (SN N377353) in the 13th Infantry Battalion,Volunteer Defence Corp  - discharged 25th July, 1944
