Spencer Simon SIEMON was born on 3rd August 1894 in Charters Towers, Queensland
His parents were Conrad Henry SIEMON & Catherine Amelia WAGNER
He had 4 years previous service in the CMF & had served 12 months in the Senior Cadets before he enlisted on 31st January, 1916 & embarked with the 42nd Infantry Battalion, 3rd reinforcements from Brisbane on the HMAT Clan Macgillivray on 7th September, 1916
Spencer was Killed in Action in France on 17th April, 1918 and is buried in the Villers Bretonneux Military Cemetery
