Son of George H. Schofield and Emily Schofield of Dulwich, London, England formerly of 65 Belvedere Road, Upper Norwood, London, England.

Brother of Reginald George Hornby Schofield who was killed in action on the 24 May 1915 at Lone Pine while serving with the 15th Battalion and has no known grave. His name apears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 49; and Frances Morphew of Bowen Hills, QLD
