Son of Eliza Gladden (Collyer) Jones (1850 ~ 1941) & William Jones of Rushworth (1850 ~ 1930) Vic.
He saw service on the Western Front & was awarded the 1914/15 Star, British War Medal & Victory Medal.
He died at the No. 11 Australian General Military Hospital Caulfield Vic of Tubercular Peritonitis, his service history indicates he suffered from Bronchitis throughout his deployment overseas.
