His parents were Charles James OUGDEN and Elizabeth CHIVELL - he was their only son & his father died when he was a baby

Franks name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial, the Blackwood Soldiers Memorial, The Honour Roll in Holy Innocents Church in Blackwood, SA and the South Australian National War Memorial in Adelaide
