Leslie Willoughby's place of birth was Inglewood South Australia his hometown was in Plympton South Australia. His job before the war was a farmer and labourer. His mother Mrs E A Willoughby was his next of kin.
His enlistment date was 11 of April 1916 and he embarked from Adelaide, on board HMAT A70 Ballarat on August 1916 and he returned back to Australia on 14 January 1919 the unit the person served with was the 10th Battalion 19th reinforcement.
He arrived in England in 18/12/1916 and marched out to France on 22/12/1916
And Leslie Willougby was wounded at war in September 8 1918 and arrived in hospital in September 17 1918. He never recovered and his service record states that he was invalided.
He returned to Australia from York 14/1/1919 and was later discharged 3/4/1919.
