His brother, Private Thomas Francis Harold fell on the Somme on 29/07/1916; he was 25 and served with the 25th Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement, Australian Infantry, A.I.F., Service Number 1934. They were sons of of James and Mary Harold. Sister was Miss Mary Harold, 57 Portland Street, Halifax, England
