Son of Charles William Wigger and Eliza Wigger nee Branston of 5 Victoria Parade, Fitzroy, Victoria.

Brother of Martha Ann Wigger, Ellen Mabel Wigger, Charles Hugh Llewellyn Wigger who was killed in action on 25 April 1915 while serving with the 6th Battalion and has no known grave. Name appears on the Lone Pine Memorial, Panel 27, Mavis Wigger and Robert Branton Wigger who died of wounds on 5 August 1918 while serving with the 22nd Battalion. Robert is buried in the Beacon Cemetery, Sailly Laurette, Plot 1, Row G, Grave 10
