Private T. Griffiths, killed in action, was a son of the late Mr. Edward Thomas Griffiths and Christina Griffiths, and a brother of E. G. and C. Griffiths, of 231 Myers-street, Geelong.
Deceased enlisted at Geelong and was a member of the 9th Light Horse. He had only attained his 18th year last month, and was well known. Two other brothers are also on active service: one with the Australian Expeditionary force, and the second one is on the H.M.A.S. Australia.
He died of shrapnel shell to the body at Walker's Ridge, Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.

Son of Edward Griffiths and Christina Griffiths nee Johnson of 281 Myers Street, Geelong, Victoria. Brother of George Griffiths of Brighton Beach who returned to Australia having served with the 2 Field Artillery and died on 21 Deceember 1956 and his plaque is in the Victorian Garden of Remembrance, Victoria and Edward Griffiths of Geelong, Victoria
