My 'Poppy', Donald Angus Beaton Condie

It has been said of Donald Angus Beaton Condie, by all who knew him, that he was the hardest worker they had ever known and that no other man could keep up with him. It has also been said that he was a very talented and gifted diesel mechanic who could fix things (like tractors) for everyone around the area.

Don was a kind and loving grandfather who told the best and scariest 'ghost stories' which entertained his grandchildren and are very fondly remembered.

He was a beautiful and gentle soul.

We recall him playing the piano accordion for us and he was very entertaining and talented with that. He was truly a lovely man.

Don and his wife, Irene, are buried beside each other at the Murgon Cemetery, Queensland.

Donald Angus Beaton Condie was a much adored and loving husband, father and grandfather - our beloved 'Poppy Condie'.
