2 Mar 1917: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 6276, 6th Infantry Battalion, GSW to the neck. Spent about 7 month recovering. Never returned to the front line… he was reassigned to the 6th Battalion Post Office and later to the ‘Pay Corps’.
9 Sep 1920: Discharged AIF WW1, 6276, Discharged on 9 September 1920 after returning home (with new wife) onboard the Megantic 22 Jan 1920.
