Logan Village Museum
James AKA Swanson was born 14th December 1896 in Brisbane. He died 31st August 1985 and is remembered in the Mt Thompson Mem Gardens Holland Park.
His parents were Johann (John) and Charlotte Jane nee Sharland. He married Ann nee Hopper.
He enlisted in Brisbane 10th January 1916, and Embarked 1st May 1916 on HMAT A46 Clan Macgillivreay from Brfisbane.
He returned to Australia on the 20th December 1918 and was in the Flovent Military Hospital England on Armistice Day 1918.
He is listed on the Logan Village Museum Honour Roll as his family were Pioneers of the District.
