Flying Officer Robert Alan Huth (Service No:405446) enlisted in the RAAF on 29 March 1941 and served with 22, 71, 7 and 38 Squadrons. On 2 December 1942 Sergeant Huth was attached to 7 Sqaudron when the Beaufort A9-116 in which he was a crew member over ran the Horn Island Runway - he was not injured. Flying Officer Huth was attached to 9 Local Air Supply Unit when he was Discharged on 3 November 1945.

Born in 1913 at Benowa via Southport QLD, Bob was the third of seven children of Wilhelm Robert Carl Huth (b1879 at Pimpama Island, QLD) and Alice Mary Gill (b1873 in Dalby, QLD). Wilhelm (a Labourer) and Alice married in 1910 in Southport, QLD and settled at Benowa via Southport where they raised their family and Wilhelm was a Dairy Farmer.

Bob was a Dairy Farmer at Benowa via Southport and in 1941 married Stella Muriel Raabe (b1919 in Southport, QLD). Following his service in the RAAF, Bob resumed Dairy Farming at Benowa via Southport where he and Stella raised their family. Bob died in 2006 and Stella in 2012.
