Leading Aircraftman Peter Browning White (Service No:84715) enlisted in the RAAF on 29 April 1944 and was attached to 77 Operational Base Unit when he was Discharged on 19 August 1946.
Born in 1926 in Narrogin WA, Peter was the second child of Victor William White (b1890 in Melbourne, Victoria) and Ida Comfort Hayes (b1897 in Bunbury, WA). Victor served in WWI (Private; Service No:3238) and following his Discharge returned to work as a Teacher. Victor (a Teacher) and Ida married in 1923 in Narrogin WA and lived in Bunbury, Narrogin, Wittenoom and Kalgoorlie where they raised their family and Victor was a Teacher.
Peter settled in Perth following his Discharge from the RAAF and was a Salesman in the mid 1950s when he married Maxine Cuffley Parker (b1924 in Perth, WA) - Maxine was working as a Clerk in Perth, having recently returned from a trip to England. Peter and Maxine settled in Perth where Peter worked as an Accountant. Peter died in 1973 and Maxine in 2020.
