Biography

Originally enlisted on 14 September 1915 and served 69 Days with A Squadron 9th Australian Light Horse before being discharghed due to health issues on 5 December 1914

Reenlisted on 12 June 1915 and embarked aboard RMS Morea with 3rd quota of reinforcements for the 27 th Battalion AIF

Joined the Battalion at ANZAC on 12 October 1915

Evacuated due to health on 23 October 1915

 Returned to Australia 24 June 1916
