Keith was the eldest of three children of William Vincent Aloysiius Molloy (born 1897 in Ipswich, QLD) and Iris (Dorothy) May Dorothy Drew Adams (born 1901 in Cairns, QLD). William - a Motor Mechanic - and Dorothy married in 1925 in Ipswich, QLD. William served in WWI (Private; Service No:2259). He and Dorothy settled in Ipswich, QLD where William worked as a Motor Mechanic before becoming a Garage Proprietor in the 1930s. The family moved to Brisbane in the 1960s.

Keith enlisted in the RAAF in August 1943 and was a Leading Aircraftman (Service No:150480) attached to 38 Operational Base Unit when he was Discharged in March 1946. Returning to Ipswich, Keith worked as a Radio Technician and moved to Brisbane, QLD in the 1960s. Keith died in Brisbane QLD in 2003.
